The Skint Dad blog is about "spending less without living without". He offers lots of hints and tips and highlights special offers available in a range of shops and businesses on his Facebook page. He writes articles on money saving in a range of newspapers and online publications.
The Money Advice Service is a government funded service. They offer Free unbiased impartial information and advice to help you make the most of your money. They various tools, resources and calculators to make our lives easier. For example it includes a range of letter templates so that you can easily write to your bank.
Debt and Debt Advice
Citizens Advice' Advice Guide offer lots of information and help on Debt and how to manage it and would be a good place to start.
If you need to speak to someone about Debt you can contact the Sandwell Citizens Advice Bureau on 03444 111 444 - Telephone Advice Line (Charged at Local Rates) or visit their offices in Smethwick, Oldbury or West Bromwich.
You can also contact the National Debtline or call them on 0808 808 4000. You can go through a step by step site called My Money Steps. National Debtline is run by the charity, Money Advice Trust.
Step Change is also a Debt Charity that can help if you have Debts, visit their website or call 0800 138 1111.
